What We Do
A strong economic environment requires a strong community.
In a county our size, the Chamber carries work that a larger metro would divide among three or four separate organizations, and we do all of it from one office. We serve more than 200 member businesses through networking, promotion, education, and advocacy; we recruit investment and jobs on behalf of the entire county; we market Overton County to the visitors whose spending supports our local economy; and we work on the revitalization of downtown in partnership with Main Street Livingston. Each of those functions has its own mission and constituency, but all four exist for the same reason: a strong economic environment requires a strong community.
